Hi! We're Ben and Haley
We’ve been traveling full-time since 2022 with backpacks on our shoulders and cameras in our hands.
Before that, we spent years using every second of our vacation days to see as much of the world as we could, but were always wishing we had more time. So after years of saving money and daydreaming, we just went for it.
We sold most of what we owned, moved out of our apartment, and booked a one-way flight.
Now we create travel videos about our life on the road. Not top ten lists or bucket list guides. Just our real-life, the small everyday moments, and the ups and downs that come with choosing this kind of life.
We love slow travel, quiet mornings, unexpected detours, and places that don’t always make the “must-see” lists. And we share it all through our YouTube videos, photography, and very occasional blog posts.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from traveling, it’s that we can be better humans when we’re able to open our minds to the different perspectives and experiences of others. Whether that’s at home or halfway around the world.
That is why we travel and that is why we decided to share our journey with you.

Since we clicked “Share” on that video, it’s been a long and winding journey to figure out what we want to share with the world and how to best capture it.
So, here’s an introduction to us and a little bit about why we started this whole thing.

Since we left, we’ve been to 60+ countries, learned how to use a camera, had a few terrible rounds of food poisoning that have scarred us for life, done some epic road trips, and created films about most of it to our accumulated 12.3k(!) YouTube subscribers (@benandhaley).

Eventually, we realized we feel most like ourselves somewhere out there. Moving. Adapting. Learning.
Ben is the steady logic that keeps the wheels from falling off on this whole thing, the master of our modest budget, and the calm when our travels don’t go according to plan (which is quite often).
Haley is the daydreamer behind most of our wild ideas, the one who plans the details, curates the road trip playlists, and is usually found documenting our life in her journal or behind the camera.

WHY DO WE WANT TO LIVE THIS INSANE, BEAUTIFUL, CHAOTIC LIFE
IT ALL STARTED WITH AN IDEA.
We are those type 2 fun people you hear about with a strong affinity for discomfort and stressing ourselves out in remote corners of the planet.
Just kidding. Kind of.
We do this because we’re drawn to meaningful experiences over material things and are trying to intentionally build a life around that. We’ve fallen in love with the way traveling constantly stretches you, sometimes gently and sometimes painfully.
It might look like trying a strange new food we can’t pronounce, or it might look like confronting beliefs and assumptions we didn’t even know we had.
Either way, if there’s one thing we’ve learned from traveling, it’s this: We can be better humans, kinder humans, when we’re able to open our minds to the different perspectives and experiences of others. Whether you’ve gone just a short way down the road or halfway across the world.
